Welcome to Our Organization
We create a system in which Ukrainian citizens and Ukrainian businesses in Poland are not left alone with legal problems, and Polish companies and citizens gain safe and transparent access to the Ukrainian market.
About Us
The International Ukrainian‑Polish Foundation for Legal Defense is a non‑governmental organization of an international character, established to support the protection of human rights, economic activity, the rule of law and solidarity between nations.
The Foundation provides legal aid and represents people who have suffered as a result of armed conflict, violence, discrimination and violations of fundamental rights. It cooperates with lawyers, experts and legal institutions from Poland, Ukraine and other European countries. The Foundation also provides legal assistance in conducting business activities in Ukraine and Poland.
The Foundation's activities also include legal education, organizing seminars, conferences and workshops, preparing reports and analyses on the legal situation of citizens and running information campaigns that raise social awareness of human rights.
The Foundation aims to build bridges of cooperation and mutual understanding between Ukraine, Poland and the international community, contributing to strengthening peace, justice and respect for human dignity.
Main Areas of Activity
Legal aid and representation
We help people affected by armed conflict, refugees and victims of violence, discrimination and human rights violations, offering free or partially paid legal support. We cooperate with lawyers and international organizations to effectively defend the rights of those most in need. We represent our beneficiaries before courts in Poland and abroad, including the European Court of Human Rights, and support entrepreneurs operating in Poland and Ukraine.

We offer comprehensive legal aid in criminal, civil, economic and tax matters. We also help with preparing notarial acts and provide standard and certified translations of documents so that our beneficiaries can handle their affairs efficiently and safely in Poland and abroad.

We conduct training sessions, workshops and educational meetings during which we present humanitarian law, human rights, and economic and tax law in a simple and comprehensible manner. We create informational materials and publications in Polish, Ukrainian and English, and run social campaigns promoting equality before the law and facilitating access to justice.

We build bridges of cooperation between legal institutions in Poland and Ukraine and support initiatives that help refugees and migrants adapt to a new environment. We organize international meetings, conferences and research projects dedicated to the rule of law and the exchange of experiences between specialists from different countries.

We document cases of human rights violations and situations affecting victims of war and political persecution so their stories are not left without a voice. Based on these, we prepare reports and analyses submitted to international institutions such as the UN, the Council of Europe and the OSCE, supporting efforts to protect the rights and dignity of the most affected people.
